TOP REASONS TO WHY WE ALL MUST HAVE ENEMIES

Hello there !

Is there someone in your life whom you hate more than you love yourself? Someone who bugs you all the time and irritates you to the core? Someone who’s face you dislike the most and who’s presence causes you anger and resentment? I’d bet that most of us will surely have at least one like that and multiple in case of some others.

As a kid born in Arusha,I remember during my times at Hady Primary, Arusha Day Secondary ,Engutoto High School and all the Universities i have been,a sense of rivalry and competition was one of the most pushing factor for my and others's success , even in the blogging planet ! we are still competing (hahaha).
So the big question, who actually are these people? Someone who had fought with you, hurt you by calling you names or disrespected you in public causing you immense pain, someone you are angry with for quite a while or someone who had done something horrible to you or a loved one of you.  These are the people we try and tend to be away from and like to keep a distance and they are our “ENEMIES”.
Now the mere mention of that word sends bitterness and annoyance throughout our body, but you just can’t deny the fact that enemies are as important as friends are and they serve many a purpose than just annoying and pissing us off. This might sound crazy to many of you because why on earth is it good to have enemies? Well this is a tough question but let us try and explore the reasons why we must have enemies:

10. YOU WILL BE HAPPIER

In this ultra modern 21st century time is moving at a fast pace and in the race to catch up with it is causing many, a lot and loads of stress and anger which can eat you up from inside or can come out that you show on the people around you causing strained relations in the long run. So having an enemy is a good thing as you can direct this anger and resentment towards him/her  without having to worry about the relation as it is already bad between the both of you.

 9. ENEMIES MAKE YOU POPULAR BY CREATING CONTROVERSY

He is an enemy then surely he talks at your back and of course badly, but who cares as long as it creates a controversy and makes you popular in some sense. These days’ controversies can lead to very powerful outcomes making your popularity grow two fold, it is viewed as an easy way to be popular in a short time and stand out among your peers and none can do it better than your enemies.

8. YOU CAN MAKE GOOD FRIENDS OUT OF THEM

It is always good to make new friends and it is even good when a foe turns into a friend because he will put his heart and soul while doing anything for you, after all he does not want to cross your path ever again and surely he has a point to prove. So enemies can be powerful allies but the only thing is that you need to bury the hatchet with him, but before that you actually need to have an enemy in the first place.

7. ENEMIES WILL KEEP YOU FOCUSED

One of the best ways to stay focused in the right direction is being motivated all the time, and if you have enemies then consider yourself the luckiest person on the earth as none can do the job of keeping you motivated better than an enemy. They make us work hard to reach them and harder to beat them but we will never give up as it is a matter of pride which we does not want to lose so ultimately we will be proud of our never say die attitude.

6. ENEMY OF YOUR ENEMY CAN BE A FRIEND

Naturally enemies will have a division of thought and being the known opponent of your enemy you are likely to draw new friends towards yourself who can be very useful to you. This makes you feel safer and secure for some unknown reason as your allies are growing in number while your enemies’ friends are decreasing at the same pace. This will give you a chance to boss upon the new joiners giving a boost to your leadership qualities (not in all the cases).

5. ENEMIES MAKE YOUR APPEARANCE LOOK GOOD

This will surely raise some eyebrows how could an enemy affect our appearance? Well the answer is it may not affect directly but surely there will be a change in you that even you can’t help but notice and it is indirectly due to your enemy. Because you can’t risk yourself walking into your enemy at some party or a store dressed sloppily with greasy hair unless you want to be bullied by your enemy. So you will surely do your homework to look good.

4. ENEMIES WILL LET YOU KNOW THE NEGATIVES IN YOU

This surely comes as a surprise but it is true, because friends and family will not let you know all the negatives in you because they like and love you, they agree to whatever you say and shakes their head in affirmation to whatever you decide as they don’t want to go against you even if it is wrong in some sense. But an enemy only holds grudge against you and will try to find fault in everything you do, you may not be right all the time and your enemy may not be wrong all the time so he will surely let you know your negatives that are hidden or unknown to you.

3. ENEMIES WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH IN THE LONG RUN

Is it? But how is that? We all have enemies from our childhood may be from as early as kindergarten, You will consider others who took your pencil, eraser, sharpener or Tiffin box in school as your enemies or someone who is a friend of your 1st childhood crush naturally becomes your enemy, you will tend to be jealous of them because you can’t be in their place which you want to be in badly. But fast forward 15 years you just can’t stop laughing recollecting all these cute yet romantic crushes, silly moments and all the childish things you have done to bug your enemy.

2. COMPETITION BETWEEN THE ENEMIES IS GOOD FOR THE SOCIETY

This idea may not be for everyone and I believe there will be many naysayers among you who are not ready to buy this, but we can’t leave this aside as having enemies and healthy competition is very good for the society especially in politics where the faults of one person are brought forward by their enemies. The enemies and rivals serve many a purpose and these enemies try to refrain from any other wrongdoing and try to be in the good books of the people mostly. People also tend to learn from their enemies and try to correct themselves.

1. ENEMIES WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER PERSON AS A WHOLE

Enemies provide many chances for self-improvement. They will make you think strategically so that you can figure out some goods ways to beat them in every possible field it leads to healthy competition. Your aims and ambitions will take a leap as you always try to be a step ahead of your enemy. Enemies serve as a reality check from time-to-time and you will be ready for everything that comes your way and you will grow stronger and smarter each passing day, people and even your enemy may start feeling jealous of you.

Dickson Says "At this point i am certain that you are looking back and around your life with that EYE OF ANALYSIS figuring out who is playing which role in your life or perhaps which role are you playing to those around you. The Idea here is to tell you that no winner without a contest and those whom we compete with keeps us focused and aligned to our missions; now play well and keep your Senses Open, Somebody Somewhere Is Chasing. ALL THE BEST"
Trust me without competitions, Earth could have been a boring planet
